SFTS Lodge Friday Night Conversation 2-26-10

(Based on the Minutes of the 2-26-10 SFTS Lodge Friday Night Meeting)

Mary Kamadulski read and expanded upon some inspiring passages from the Introduction to the Science of Peace by Annie Besant

The Self, the No-Self, the Relation between them — this is the Triplicity of the Divine. There is no reality to be found, save in the profoundest depths of consciousness, there alone is the Real, there alone is the Eternal, and for him who knows the Eternal, and abides therein, only for him, is there peace.

We have will. And our desires can lead us whither? “As a thing is viewed, so it appears.” There is a thought process going on, but we’re really trying to get to consciousness, prajna-paramita. Mary wants to dwell in that place. We are all teachers for each other. Facing death is a healthy exercise. How better to live your life?

A lively discussion followed.
