Joe Miller — A Series of Talks on Tibetan Yoga & Secret Doctrine

In the late 1970s, Joe Miller delivered a series of ten talks on Tibetan Yoga & Secret Doctrine, a seminal work by a dear friend and colleague, Dr. W.Y. Evans-Wentz, at the San Francisco Theosophical Society on Mason Street. The series was also given in conjunction with the “School of Sufi Studies,” a program of events offered at that time by the Sufi circle of another dear friend and colleague, Samuel Lewis.

For ten week, Joe held forth for one hour (sharp) every Tuesday, sitting cross-legged on a white goat-skin rug, beneath a painting of the Buddha to a group of twenty to thirty young people.

These precious tapes preserve Joe’s unique perspectives on the “nitty gritty” of the spiritual path.

(These digital files were derived from the original casette tapes made on an inexpensive hand-held tape recorder over thirty years ago.)
